OEM air filter or K&N replacement filter? for honda accord 2.0 vtev 2000?

Im about to do a diy service on my car but Im not sure what filter to get, the main reason I would want a performace drop in air filter would be for the fuel consumption and better air flow, but i hear storys about oils etc giving faulty sensor readings,and

You won't see ANY increase in gas mileage. And yes, the oiled fibers can goober up the MAF sensor. K&N denies that it will affect your warranty. But GM has issued a TSB that revokes warranty coverage on any vehicle with an oiled filter. Read the post
