What type of animals live in Madagascar (not the movie)?

Ok I know about the lemurs, I'm thinking snakes,spiders, biting insects, leeches, stingrays? Also, if any of you have been to Madagascar is it good (I'm looking to do something involving animals and plants, is there much to see?) Thanks!
