It's been parked about 5 years, in the woods. I've got a couple questions. It ran 5 years ago and it's okay turning over, I'm not getting any spark in the engine. My buddy was stupid and tried to put the battery in backwards. He smoked a harness going to what I believe is the ignition. Is there a fusible link or something I may have burnt out or do I have to replace the entire wiring harness?

Before going out and buying yourself and replacing the wiring harness, I would suggest...

I've been having trouble with my 1998 Volvo S70 the past few days. I had just bought a new battery for it, installed it and tried to start my car only to find it will only crank. The car never fully starts up. However, the car will run is I hold down the gas pedal as I'm turning it on and it fires up. It sputters a bit right at the start up but then runs smooth as long as I'm holding my f43 Vote(s)
