My Audi A4 check engine light came on, along with MPH 1 that keeps blinking?

My Audi A4 2004 didn't start the first time I tried turning it on. The second time it did turn on. Soon after the check engine light came on. Along with it the MPH 1 light that kept blinking on the info screen. What could the problem be? I keep my car

I had the same problem a week back. I took it to Autozone and they read the computer codes and figured out that some sensor had "misfired" when the car didn't start the first time. They reset the codes and the light has not come back on again.
