Should I buy a new General Motors car since GM might go under?

Friends tell me to buy a foreign car.

be very weary of buying anything from GM. Many times, they will not honor their warranty.
I had to sue them for "breach of warranty" and won. But it took me one year and the stress and frustrations that go along with it are overwhelming.
