Would it be easier to take all 4x4 components from truck and swap them on another van, or body swap?

I have a 1990 e350 van that i would like to convert to 4x4, I have a similar year ford f250 that i want to take all the 4x4 parts and use them for the e350 van. Both have the same engine size, my only concern is the whellbase, I believe mine is about
